I was diagnossed with young-onset Parkinson's disease at age 40. I am now 50. I went to the Mayo Clinic in 2018 and they told me I have "Parkinson's Plus,' where 85% of my .symptoms present as Parkinson's and the otheer 15%, they just don't know, but they suspect ataxia, of which there are 300+ varieties. I have decided against genetic testing, and therefore certainty, for several resons which includes the consideration that certainty leaves no room for magic or miracles.
